Beer Bread Recipe

Warning! This is very addicting. Warm, buttery, hearty and foolproof. This is my go-to recipe when I need something quick to serve and impress. This recipe is so easy, you can make it in under an hour. No yeast or kneading required, just mix, pour, and bake. I serve this with homemade chili. The very definition of comfort food.๐

Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 12 oz can beer, (lager works best)
1/2 cup melted butter
Follow These Steps
Preheat your oven to 375F
In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt and 1/3 cup sugar.
Pour in beer and combine well. Do not over mix.
Divide batter into 2 greased loaf pans. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter on top of the batter in each loaf pan.
Bake for 25-30 min. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on top of bread as soon as bread comes out of the oven.
Flip them out of the loaf pans as soon as they are cool to touch. Slice them up and serve them while warm.
Pro Tip
Any type of beer will work for this recipe, but lager works best. Flavor is mild and not too bitter.
Baker's Confession
My favorite part of this bread are the end pieces. The melted butter bakes all over the surface and ends of the bread, making a beautiful crust all over. I would hide and secretly eat the end pieces! If I'm feeling nice, sometimes I share them with my favorite people.
