Hi, I’m Ashley! I'm a second-generation Filipina from Elk Grove. Missing my family’s big gatherings in 2020, I began blending candles that smelled like childhood street-market treats. After months of testing I launched Kandelita, Tagalog for “little candle,” in August 2021. My husband Sergio and I still hand pour each soy candle in small batches, filling jars with ube, pandan, or leche flan notes that spark nostalgia and share Asian American joy with every light.
